It’s easy to get started – photo and video from Lapland!

Lappland Media & Image Bank offer photo and video of high quality from Lapland. We do not have images of everything. But we do have the pictures that characterise Lapland – the people, nature, animals, activities, travel destinations, culture, tourism, northern lights and the midnight sun. From Luleå Archipelago across Laponia World Heritage Site to the peak of Kebnekaise and up to Abisko’s famous view over Mt. Lapporten.
Here we have collected tips and information to get you started to find and buy the images you are looking for.

1.

Create an account.

The benefits of an account are:

  • You can save sketch images in a lightbox
  • Email your sketch images to colleagues
  • See previous purchases
  • E-shop at any time of the day
  • For all royalty free images, we will create a folder for you and your colleagues so you always can access the pictures.

2.

Search Images.

If you are unsure what image you want, please use our category search engine where we collected the best pictures in eg. landscape, recreation, animals, northern lights etc. You can also use free text search. In that case, use single words and avoid phrases. If you want to combine keywords such as “landscape” “winter”, first do a search for “landscape” and then leave “landscape” left and do a new search for “winter”. You can also combine keywords with categories or search on colours or via a map. If you are unsure, please call 070-333 8883 and we will help you to get started!

3.

Calculate price.

You purchase the right to use an image or movie clip and there are two license types that are good to know:

  • RF (royalty free)

    Image price is determined by image size.
    After purchase, the image can be used as you wish forever for the company / organization that you have listed as a user. If you want to reduce costs, choose a time-limited use.

  • Royalty free (RF) license prices

    Variations in size may occur between different images. The exact image size of each image can be found under the heading “Prices” when you click on an image in the search result.

    Lower the cost per image – buy more or reduce time!
    Video Pricing
    Full HD movie clips (1920x1080pxl) or 4K (3840x2160pxl): 2900 SEK / clip. Request a quote if you need more than a few clips or need footage in higher resolution (eg. RAW or apple pro res 5.5K). Clips may be used unlimited time.
    We are also happy to edit the movie for you.

    If you do not need to use the images for unlimited time, we can offer lower prices for shorter applications, and if you need more than one single image, we can offer flexible packages.

  • Rights managed (RM) license prices

    This is the cheapest way to buy an image for a specific use. The price is determined by product type, image size and time period. You can buy the image to be used only for your company. If you contact us, you can get full history of how the image has been used before. Image prices are displayed when selecting images from the image bank.
