Itinerary for your tour

  • 12:00 – 13:00
Peter Rosén will meet you at the airport, train station or your hotel in Luleå. We drive together to a place that is good for orchids and hope that they bloom nicely. We then go on to the port of Kalix where Patrik meets us with his boat. Check-in at Malören Lodge.
    17:00 – 17:30
Peter gives an introduction to the island of Malören and goes through the program. You can borrow camera equipment and lenses from 14-500mm as well as a floating hide for bird photographing.
    17:30
3-course dinner with local specialties at Malören Lodge. Beverage packages can be purchased for those who wish.
    19:30 – 00.00
We walk around the island freely and photograph landscapes, birds and flowers. Peter is always on hand for questions. If the light is nice, we can photograph until the next morning. We let the light control our days.
  • 09:30 – 13:30
Depending on the light, we choose to photograph outdoors or have image criticism indoors.
    14:00 – 16:30
Download photos and access to a sauna at your accommodation. We are flexible during the day so we use the best time for outdoor photography.
    16:30 – 17:30
Peter is available for individual questions on the photos you have taken (which is the case all the time).
    17:30
Dinner with the other participants and Peter. Wine and beer are available at an additional cost.
    19:30 – 00:00
We repeat last night’s program and we are photographing when the light is best.
  • 09:30 – 16:00
After breakfast we pack our photo backpacks and go with Patrik over to Haparanda Sandskär National Park. It is another very special island with everything from old pine forests, long sandy beaches, plenty of hares and large moose. On the island there is also an old chapel and older buildings that invite us for nice photographing.
    17:30
We have dinner over an open fire on Haparanda Sandskär.
    19:30 – 22:00
We continue photography on Haparanda Sandskär and hope for nice evening light before we go back with Patrik to our accommodation on Malören.
  • 09:30 – 11:30
We continue to discover the island Malören and maybe you have now received so many pictures that you can treat yourself to a couple of hours on the beach, bird watching or just reading a book. There is also time for individual questions for Peter.
    12:00 – 13:00
    Lunch at Malören Lodge.
    14:00 – 14.30
Check-out and boat transportation to the mainland again. We take the minibus back to Luleå.
